NeoTract, Inc.Mountain View, CA Ted Lamson is Co-Founder, President and CEO of NeoTract, Inc., a medical device company focused on the development of minimally invasive surgical devices. NeoTract recently raised series A financing after approximately a year?s development effort within ExploraMed. Dr. Lamson has over 18 years experience in the medical device industry in the fields of interventional cardiology, radiology, cardiothoracic surgery, otolaryngology and urology. Prior to ExploraMed, Dr. Lamson was Vice President of Advanced Technologies at Medtronic in the Vascular Division, a role directly linked to his prior position as Vice President of R&D for TransVascular, Inc., which was acquired by Medtronic in 2003. Prior to TransVascular Dr. Lamson held the position of Section Manager, Research & Development at Schneider/NAMIC, then a subsidiary of Pfizer, Inc. For 6 years prior to that, he was a Project Engineer on the Totally Implantable Artificial Heart Program, a collaborative effort between Sarns/3M, Inc. and the Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Lamson holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Bioengineering from the Pennsylvania State University and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
