Steve Salmon is a medical device professional who has been responsible for co-founding Integrated Vascular Systems, Inc. (IVS), Core Medical, Inc., Express Therapeutics, LLC and Napa Medical Systems, Inc. He has held positions within the research & development ranks of Conmed Corporation, USCI Division of C.R. Bard, Cardiovascular Imaging Systems, Inc. (CVIS), and as the Vice President of IVUS R&D at Boston Scientific Corporation, where he was a member of the Technology Executive Council. Most recently, he held the position of Vice President of Operations at IVS. Currently, Steve is serving in various consulting positions within the medical device start-up community. Among those companies represented are: Venomatrix, Inc., Core Medical, Inc., Amed Systems, Inc. and Napa Medical Systems, Inc. Steve is also currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors of Napa Medical Systems, Inc. During his tenure in the medical device business, Steve has authored, or co-authored 18 U.S. patents, with several additional patents pending. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maine.
