Robert Zider

Bob Zider founded The Beta Group in 1983 with backing from The Boston Consulting Group. From 1976 to 1983 he worked at The Boston Consulting Group, where he was a vice president. From 1969 to 1971 he was an analytical engineer with Pratt & Whitney in the Advanced Engines Group. From 1971 to 1973, and on a part-time basis from 1974 to 1976 while attending school, Bob was a Lieutenant with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Bob received his BSCE in 1969 from the University of Virginia and his MBA with Distinction in 1976 from the Harvard Business School.
