Bob Reiss is a recognized pioneer in the medical device industry. He built three major companies and managed them through successful acquisitions: Imed acquired by Warner Lambert in 1982, ACS acquired by Eli Lilly in 1984 and Interventional Technologies acquired by Boston Scientific in 2001. He was trained as an Industrial Engineer (GMI 1960) and a Bioengineer (Columbia University 1966). He is a Chinese linguist (US Army Language School 1961) and an avid around-the-world aviator.
