Michi Garrison is a consultant in the medical device industry, providing technical and strategic consulting services to early-stage medical device companies, entrepreneurs, and investors. Her area of expertise includes concept and product development, primarily in the areas of cardiology and cardiac surgery. Previously, she has held senior management positions at CardioVasc and Heartport. She has also held R&D engineering positions at Cardiovascular Imaging Systems, Advanced Cardiovascular Systems, and MiniMed Technologies. Ms. Garrison has an A.B. in Engineering from Harvard University and an M.S. in Bioengineering from UC San Diego. She is an inventor/co-inventor of more than 30 patents in the medical device field
