Lonnie Barish
Northview Pacific LaboratoriesHercules, CA Lonnie is currently Director of Business Development for Northview Pacific Laboratories, a Hercules, CA, Contract Research Organization (CRO) serving national and international Pharmaceutical, Biotech and Medical Device companies. He oversees all the Sales and Marketing activities for the division. Lonnie joined Northview in February 2002. After graduating with his MBA, Lonnie started his career at SmithKline & French in their Pharmaceutical Division as a Sales Representative. He was promoted to Product Management working on SmithKline Beechams's number two drug, Augmentin, with sales at the time of $700M, and went on to SKB's Consumer Brands division as National Slaes and Brand Manager. There he developed several key marketing plans and strategies. Following his success at SmithKline, he was recruited to Collagen Biomedical as Marketing Director to help expand the sales of Collagen products and launch several unique medical devices including a soy oil filled breast implant and a new treatment for urinary incontinence. After leaving Collagen, Lonnie went on to work at several key San Francisco Bay Area start-ups in various Senior Management capacities. Lonnie holds a BS degree in Biological Science with a focus on Toxicology from the University of California, Davis (1983), and Master's in Business Administration in Science and Engineering Management also from the University of California, Davis (1983). Lonnie also serves as a Director on several Bay Area corporations.
