Ms. Faulkner is a Rhodes Scholar, a Fulbright Scholar, and one of four "Future Leaders" on the list of Canada's Top 100 Most Powerful Women. She holds degrees in chemical engineering, business administration and law with research focussing on access to medicines in middle income countries. Ms. Faulkner has worked in consulting, investment banking, private equity, and pharmaceutical licensing. In addition, she has led two successful entrepreneurial ventures, and most recently she has completed the Biodesign Fellowship. Ms. Faulkner has recently turned her attention to creating awareness around unmet clinical needs, including pandemic preparation and will work at Stanford, focussed on that project, for the 2009-2010 academic year.
