Jeani Delagardelle joined Sprout in August 2000 and became General Partner in July 2001. Previously, she was a General Partner at Weiss, Peck & Greer Venture Partners where she focused on healthcare investments. Before joining Weiss, Peck & Greer Venture Partners, Jeani spent 16 years in senior marketing, sales, business development and general manager positions in the healthcare industry. Specifically, she was Vice President of Global Marketing for Target Therapeutics (acquired by Boston Scientific for $1.1B) and spent nine years with the Medi-tech division of Boston Scientific in several senior management roles. In addition, Jeani served as Director of Business Operations for Roche Laboratories and Director of Global Marketing for Cell Pro, Inc. Jeani leads the medical device investments at Sprout Group which have been primarily start up and early stage device companies. In addition, she oversees the Entrepreneur in Residence Program at Sprout which has historically been focused on identifying unmet clinical needs that can be addressed by a medical device solution. The most recent company formed as a result of the EIR program is Aspire Medical which is focused on the development of a device solution to treat Obstructive Sleep Apnea. Jeani attended University of California at Irvine (MBA) and Occidental College (AB). Jeani leads the medical device investment effort.
