Jamey Jacobs is currently the Divisional Vice President and General Manager of Structural Heart, Abbott Vascular in Menlo Park, CA. Jamey’s experience spans over 25 years in the cardiovascular and cardiology device industry. He has extensive experience in the areas of research engineering, development engineering, project management, marketing, sales and R&D management. Jamey previously held positions as, Divisional Vice President and General Manager of the Coronary Franchise, Divisional Vice President, R&D, Abbott Vascular Devices, R&D Director and Global Marketing Manager for Guidant. He has held a variety of other positions at Abbott Vascular Devices, Guidant, and Advanced Cardiovascular Systems. Jamey also held management roles in engineering, marketing, and sales for IVAC Corporation. He has led the development and marketing of automatic drug titration systems for cardiovascular surgery patients, angioplasty guide wires, balloon catheters, vessel closure devices, coronary stents, and drug eluting stents. Jamey earned his bachelor’s degree in Systems Science Engineering from the University of California, San Diego.
