David A. Levine is a registered patent attorney and founding partner of Levine Bagade Han LLP, a Palo Alto patent law firm specializing in medical device technologies. He has extensive experience in patent prosecution and intellectual property due diligence for funding, asset acquisition, and licensing representing investors, acquirers, target companies, licensors and licensees. Mr. Levine has also provided strategic advice for large and complex patent portfolios, negotiated and drafted patent licenses and assignments, prosecuted trademarks and supported patent litigation. Mr. Levine previously worked as a patent examiner in a medical device art unit at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and interned to Chief Judge Mayer of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Mr. Levine has a J.D. from George Washington University, B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering with Biomedical Engineering Specialties in both degrees and a minor in business from the University of Texas at Austin.
