David P. Lee, M.D. is currently Staff Physician and Clinical Instructor in Medicine at Stanford University. Dr. Lee graduated from MIT in 1987 and went to medical school at the University of Minnesota. He first came to Stanford in 1992 for his Internal Medicine Residency and then continued at Stanford as a Cardiovascular Medicine Fellow in 1995. He was Chief Fellow in 1998 and completed an Interventional Cardiology fellowship in 1999. He has been on staff at Stanford since 1999. His major research interests include vascular closure devices, novel treatments for acute myocardial infarction, and new approaches to coronary revascularization, including device design.
