Lars Hofmann is the Director of Product Management, Ultrasound, Premium Markets at Siemens Healthcare Ultrasound located in Mountain View California. The team is responsible to define the future and maintain the current premium ultrasound system portfolio of Siemens Healthcare. Deep understanding of global customer and market needs is the foundation for successful Product Lifecycle Management especially when managing several product platforms with different target customers ranging from Cardiology over Radiology and General Imaging to Shared Service. Previously at Siemens, he served as Director of Global Marketing, Ultrasound Premium Markets. From 2007 to 2010, Mr. Hofmann was Director of Siemens Healthcare Academy and before that the Global Product Manager of the Cardiac and Acute Care CT. Prior to Siemens, Mr. Hofmann was a Resident of Cardiac Surgery at the Heart Center Leipzig and a Research Fellow at the Brigham and Women's Hospital. Mr. Hofmann received his M.D. from Philipps-Univeritat Marburg. He was also a Research Fellow at Georgetown university in the Lombardi Cancer Center. Additionally, he speaks German, English, and French.
